Hello, hello, hellooo!

Choker trend je u zadnjih godinu-dvije doživio svoj veliki povratak na modnu scenu i proširio se i u druge stilove van grunge/goth/metal stila. Kao hard-core "prljava metalika" meni ovaj trend nije ništa novo, jer su chokeri dio mojih modnih dodataka još od osnovne škole, kada su na scenu stupili oni mrežasti gumeni chokeri. Danas se chokeri mogu naći u svim bojama, oblicima, veličinama i materijalima, ali se ja i dalje držim svoje "sretne boje". 😀 Iako u svojoj kolekciji imam popriličan broj chokera, za ovaj post sam izabrala meni najdraže.

The choker trend has made a comeback to a fashion scene and expanded throughout other styles beyond grunge/goth/metal style. Being a hard-core "dirty metalhead" this trend is nothing new, because chokers have been a part of my accessories since elementary school, when the mesh, rubber chokers came on the scene. Nowadays chokers can be found in various colors, shapes, sizes and materials, but I still stick to my "happy color". 😀 Although I've got a decent number of chokers in my collection, for this post I chose my favorite ones.

Ovaj choker je moj glavni choker za svaki dan i njega nosim 90% vremena. Nije mi stigao niotkud, već je mojih ruku djelo. 😀 Sada kada imam malo više slobodnog vremena planiram si napraviti još neke chokere.

This choker is my ultimate everyday choker, and I wear it 90% of the time. It hasn't arrived from anywhere, yet was made by my own  two hands. 😀 Now, when I have a little bit more free time, I plan to make some more.

Za kraj nešto što nije baš choker već harness, ili remenje za tijelo (ne znam kako drugačije bih na našem to nazvala 😂). Ovaj je prilično jednostavan, izrađen od elastičnih traka i može se podesiti oko rebara. Može se nositi ispod ili iznad odjeće i daje dozu dramatičnosti svakoj kombinaciji. In the end, something that isn't really a choker but harness. This one is quite simple, made of elastic straps and can be adjusted around the ribs. It can be worn over or under clothes, and it gives a dash of drama to every outfit. I usually like to "throw it over" a simple black dress.
