Hello, hello, hello!

Mislila sam danas pisati o nekim novijim proizvodima koji su došli u moj posjed, no na laptopu imam pun folder slika i crtica gomilu proizvoda koji čekaju svoju recenziju jako drugo, te sam odlučila da izvučem nešto "iz naftalina" 😀. Danas vam pišem o ruževima koje sam kupila prije dosta vremena i koristila sam ih vrlo rado, no nekako utisci o njima nikako ne dođu na red. Riječ je o ruževima američkog brenda Wet n Wild koji je poznat po odličnom odnosu cijene i kvalitete. Nažalost, na području BiH ih nema u prodaji, no ako skoknete do susjedne Hrvatske možete ih pronaći u odabranim DM poslovnicama po cijeni od oko 23 kn.

I've thought about writing about some newer product which came into my possession, but there is a folder in my lapotop which is full of photos and notes about a bunch of product waiting for their review for a very long time, so I've decided to draw something "out of naphthalene" 😀. Today I'm writing about lipstick I bought some time ago and gladly used, but my thoughts of them somehow tend to stay in the background. The lipsticks are from an American brand Wet n Wild which is famous for their excellent price and quality ratio. Unfortunately, they are unavailable in the BiH area but can be found in neighboring Croatia in selected DM stores at the price of about 23 kn / 3€ / 3,6 $.

Ja sam za početak bila uzela samo jednu nijansu da probam, pa sam zatim odabrala još dvije, no vjerujem da će se još njih naći u mom posjedu. Što se tiče samog pakiranja, ono nije baš primamljivo. Napravljeno je od crne plastike sa prozirnim čepom i izgleda prilično jeftino. Sam ruž se ne može uvući do kraja, osim ako nije već napola potrošen, te ga čep često zakači pri zatvaranju, tako da se jako brzo i isprlja. Pozitivna strana prozirnog čepa je što odmah vidite koja je nijansa unutra. Također, još jedna pozitivna stvar je da ruževi dodatno dolaze zapakirani u prozirnu foliju na kojoj se nalaze informacije vezane za proizvod i lista sastojaka. Još jedna dobra stvar je što Wet n Wild proizvodi ne testiraju na životinjama 😊

For a start, I bought only one shade to try out, then I bought another two, but I believe more of them will come into my possession. As for the packaging, it's not very attractive. It is made of black plastic with transparent cap and looks quite cheap. The lipstick itself can't be retracted completely, unless it's been used already, and the cap often grazes it while closing, so it gets dirty quickly. Positive side of transparent cap is that you can immediately see the shade inside. Also, another positive thing is that lipsitck come wrapped in transparent plastic foil, which contains information about the product and the list of ingredients. Another good thing about Wet n Wild products is that they are cruelty free. 😊

Ako prijeđete preko neuglednog i pomalo nepraktičnog pakiranja, unutra vas čeka pravo malo blago. Pigmentacija je po meni najbolji atribut ovih ruževa - u jednom nanosu ćete dobiti punu nijansu, no mali problem predstavlja nanošenje. Tekstura im je pomalo suha i tvrda, te treba malo jače uprijeti kako bi se fino nanijeli, a i ravno rezani vrh ne pomaže baš što se preciznosti tiče. Također, ako imate suhe usne preporučujem nanošenje balzama prije ruževa, jer mogu pomalo isušiti usne, no to umanjuje trajnost. Kada se osuše na usnama završetak im je polu mat. Ne razlijevaju se preko usana, no preporučujem korištenje olovke uz njih zbog urednosti i preciznosti. Također, ne grudvaju se i ne naglašavaju linijice pretjerano.  Trajnost je također jako dobra. Prežive piće i neko suše jelo, te na mojim usnama izdrže nekih 5 sati, što je sasvim solidno. Što se mirisa tiče, on je jako blag i gotovo nepostojeći.

If you get over the unappealing and somewhat impractical packaging, a lovely little treasure is waiting inside. Pigmentation is, in my opinion, these lipsticks' best attribute - you will get a full shade in one application, but the application itself is a bit of a problem. Texture is somewhat dry and hard, so you need to press it a bit harder to apply it nicely, and the flat-cut tip doesn't really help when it comes to precision. Also, if you have dry lips I recommend using balm before lipsticks, because they can be a bit drying, but it reduces the durability. When they dry on the lips they get a semi-matte finish. They don't "bleed" over the lip edges, but I recommend using lip liners for precision. Also they don't cake or accentuate little lines too much. Durability is also very good. They survive drinks and some dry meal, and they last about 5 hours on my lips, which is acceptable. As far as the scent is concerned, it is quite mild and almost nonexistent.

Imaju velik raspon nijansi, a ja sam, kako sam već spomenula, izabrala tri - Cinnamon Spice, Ravin' Rasin i Mocha-licious.

They have a wide range of shades, and I, as I've already mentioned, chose three - Cinnamon Spice, Ravin' Rasin i Mocha-licious.

Cinnamon spice mi je zapela za oko radi imena, jer obožavam cimet. Zbog imena sam mislila da će nijansa biti više narančasto-smeđa, poput pravog cimeta, no ovdje je riječ o tamnijoj crvenoj sa toplijim, smeđim pod tonom, gotovo bordo nijansa. Pošto ja volim takve nijanse odmah mi se svidjela.

Cinnamon spice caught my eye because of its name, because I love cinnamon. Because of its name I thought the shade would be more orange-brownish, like the real cinnamon, but in fact this is more of a darker red shade with warmer, brown undertone, almost burgundy shade. Since I like those kind of shades I liked it immediately. 


Sljedeće dvije nijanse bi netko nazvao "pravim jesenskim", no kako ja ruževe ne dijelim na godišnja doba, na mene se to ne odnosi, haha. 😁

Some people would call these next two the "proper autumn" shades, but since I don't divide lipstick according to seasons, this term doesn't apply to me, haha 😁

Ravin' rasin je tamnija ljubičasta, šljivasta nijansa sa hladnim podtonom. Tamna je, ali ne pretjerano i prilično nosiva u raznim situacijama.

Ravin' rasin is a darker purple, plum shade with cool undertone. It is dark, but not too dark and it's quite wearable in different occasions.

Mocha-licious je u moj posjed došla na početku moje opsjednutosti sa smeđim ruževima. Srednje tamna smeđa nijansa sa hladnim, sivkastim podtonom, totalno nijansa 90ih 😀

Mocha-licious came to my possession at the beginning of my obsession with brown lipsticks. It is a medium dark brown shade with cool, grayish undertone, totally 90's shade 😀
